Fred has been involved in the electronics industry since 1979, working in retail, wholesale, and installation. He is a CompTIA Subject Matter Expert, having worked to develop testing curriculum for installers interested in certification. He has taught at venues across the country, and is certified by the State of Minnesota in Low Voltage Instruction. He writes a monthly column for CE Pro magazine called Fred's Fundamentals.
