How do I enter an order?
Once you are signed in, you can enter an order using any of these methods:
- Using the Search field, enter a Keyword, Model # or SKU # and click Search. Scroll to the item, enter a quantity and click on Add to Cart.
- Using the Catalog Search field, enter the Model # or SKU # and click Go. Enter the Quantity and click on Add to My Order.
- Click on Browse Products (to the left side of the Search field) and search a category. Click on a subcategory of products, scroll to the item, enter a quantity and click on Add to Cart.
- Go to your Favorites. Scroll to the item, enter a quantity and click on Add to Cart.
At anytime, click on Cart to quickly review your order.
When finished adding items to your order, click on Checkout. Your Cart will appear. If you need to remove item, enter 0 in the quantity box and click on the garbage can on the right side. To increase or decrease the quantity, enter the quantity and click Update.
If correct, click on Proceed to Checkout. Complete the information and click on Review Order.
If the information is correct on the Review Order page, click on Place Order.
You may print the Order Confirmation page. You will receive an order confirmation email unless you have opted out of this.
Once you click Place Order, you cannot change the order as it is already printed in our warehouse and being shipped.
How do I change a quantity on an item in my Cart? How do I delete an item?
To increase or decrease the quantity, enter the quantity and click Update.
How do I delete an item in my Cart?
If you need to remove item, enter 0 in the quantity box and click on the garbage can on the right side.
I am in the Review Order page. How do I change items now?
Click on Change items in your order in blue below Review Order.
How do I quickly find a product?
If you know the Model # or SKU #, enter this in the Search Field field and click Search.
I want to look at all of the projector mounts that Capitol sells.
This is very easy. For example, click on Browse Products, Scroll down to Mounts, and select Projector Mounts.
I want to see more information about each product listed. What do I click on?
Click on the blue short description (for example LCD TV) or the product image to see the details of the product you selected.
How do I add items to my Favorites?
Search for products using one of the 4 methods above and then click on the green star and Add to Favorites which is below the Add to Cart button. To remove an item from your Favorites, enter 0 in the quantity box and click on the garbage can on the right side.
How do I find my order history?
Click on Orders under in top left side under the Capitol logo. Enter starting and ending date, your PO#, or order status and click Search. To see details, click on the Order No. in blue.
How do I change my password?
You can change your password once you have signed in. To do so, go to Account (under the Capitol logo) and click on Account Settings. Complete each field and click Update. You will receive a confirmation that your password has been changed.
How can I change my company's billing and shipping address?
Email Capitol Sales Credit Department at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please specify if you are changing your billing address, shipping address, both addresses or adding a new shipping address.
I can't find the credit card application.
Click on Get Started in the top row on the home page (you will need to sign out to see this page), and click on the Major Credit Card.

Place your mouse over News & Events in the top row and click on Events. Upcoming dealer trainings are listed here.
How do I contact my salesperson?
If you are signed in, your salesperson is at the top of every page. Click on their name in blue which will link you to your salesperson directory. Click to email your salesperson to see their phone number and extension.
Where do I find training videos?
Login. Once you are signed in, click on Tools & Dealer Resources and select Educational Videos.
Where do I find Tech Tips?
Once you are signed in, click on Tools & Dealer Resources and select Technical Documents.
Where do I find links to manufacturers?
Once you are signed in, click on Tools & Dealer Resources and select Manufacturer Links.
Where do I find your freight policy?
Once you are signed in, click on Tools & Dealer Resources and select Freight Policies.
